Can v do anything now or itz too late

I have been hearing about global warming for quite some time now, and i think youngers have quite a big role to play in this matter cauz our future is in danger.
One of the cousins from USA was here in Delhi and we were duscussing about this only and he said you know what is going to be the first result of global warming ! It is going to be rise in the prices of food stuff cause glaciers are not replishing and most of India is using river water for irrigation.
And itz already happening my friendz.
I was reading about this study taken by JNU :
"In fact, as far back as 1993 a study to evaluate the impact of rising sea levels on India was carried out by JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University). They calculated what would happen if the sea-levels rose by just 1 metre…and they found that as many as 7 million people would be displaced and 5,764 sq km of land and 4,200 km of roads would be lost! "

So India is definately going to be hit very badly due to global warming.
